President’s New Year’s Greetings for 2025

UD Trucks celebrates its 90th anniversary this year, striving to make life better with better transport

I would like to extend my best wishes to you as we enter the new year.

Last year we faced the “2024 problem” of new government legislation in Japan that limits overtime hours, leading to concern over more acute driver shortages. However, thanks to the efforts of all our stakeholders, we did not see any major disruptions to our business. I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to everyone who is working hard to support UD Trucks and logistics every day.

As the issues facing the logistics industry become more challenging, we continue to work to reduce our environmental impact and improve safety for a sustainable future. Quon, our flagship model, which celebrated its 20th anniversary last year, has also evolved to meet the needs of the times. We will continue to enhance advanced technologies such as UD Active Steering to improve drivability, develop engines that meet the latest fuel efficiency standards and improve safety features. We are also determined to help solve the daily challenges facing our customers' business.

2025 is a special year for us as we celebrate our 90th anniversary. Since our founding in 1935, we have continued to produce commercial vehicles and provide products and services that the world needs today. This is our commitment, and it has been passed down from generation to generation since our founding.

All our employees are working together to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers. We look forward to your continued support in the coming year.
