Increase in Japanese truck sales driving growth.
UD Trucks posted total delivery of 21,638 units, up 13.6% compared to the previous year. Japan delivery performed especially well with a total of 11,257 units delivered, an 18.1% increase compared to the previous year. As background, increasing market demand and implementation of the “Retail Excellence” program by Japan Sales Division in 2012 resulted in an increase in unit sales per employee.

Central and South America
The market is performing well and posted a 59.3% increase in delivery compared to the previous year with 435 units sold.
Asia
Asia posted a total delivery increase of 15% with 16,377 units. However, South East Asian countries including Indonesia and Thailand have posted a 13.8% decrease in delivery compared to the previous year with 3,135 units sold.
Oceania
Oceania has posted an increase of 15.3% compared to the previous year with 1,068 units delivered.
Africa
Africa has seen an increase in market demand and posted an increase of 8.9% compared to the previous year with 3,758 units sold.
