UD Trucks recently held its Annual Partners’ Conference, bringing together representatives from 18 countries around the MEENA (Middle East, East and North Africa) region to celebrate the brand’s numerous achievements in 2024 and outline its strategic plans for the year ahead.

The event served as a platform to acknowledge the Japanese brand’s expanding network, including new markets such as Kenya and Egypt, all of which was delivered against a challenging economic and political backdrop. UD Trucks’s success in 2024 was driven by collaboration and innovation, both of which will serve as a foundation for even greater achievements in 2025.

The strategic plans for 2025 unveiled at the conference focused on three core objectives: enhancing operational efficiency, expanding market presence, and advancing environmental initiatives. Building on the successes of 2024, ensuring resilience in the face of evolving market dynamics. Discussions during the conference emphasized aligning strategies with UD Trucks’ "Better Life" vision, which underscores a commitment to sustainability and societal well-being.

The conference featured workshops addressing two critical themes. The first addressed evolving market dynamics, with partners sharing their insights on adapting to shifting customer demands and navigating competitive environments. The second focused on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), highlighting the MEENA team’s recent successes with initiatives such as the Plastic Pledge and Driver Guard. The participants were encouraged to collaborate on developing a unified CSR project that would amplify the impact of these efforts and present a collective front against today’s pressing challenges.

The conference also provided a platform for participants to share their own success stories, reinforcing the importance of collaboration and experience-sharing across the network. Partners were invited to highlight their achievements, fostering an environment of mutual growth and innovation. These stories underscored the strength and versatility of UD Trucks’ regional partnerships and the value of shared insights in addressing common challenges.

The celebrated the exceptional contributions of UD Trucks’ partners. Zahid Tractor from Saudi Arabia was recognised as Importer of the Year for its outstanding performance in sales, aftersales, and marketing. Al Moayyed from Bahrain received the Better Life Award for its exceptional customer experience and sustainability initiatives. Al Masaood CV&E from Abu Dhabi was honoured with the President Award, reflecting its exemplary service standards and innovative solutions, while Zahid Tractor also received the Success Story of the Year Award for its inspiring achievements in market expansion and customer satisfaction.
