UD Trucks takes Coolway Trans the Extra Mile

Coolway Trans

In just 10 years, Sunny and Anna Ahmed, the husband-and-wife team behind the transport powerhouse, Coolway Trans, have impressively scaled their operation country-wide.

Founded in 2014 with just two employees and one truck, Sunny and Anna have expanded their business to today boast 150 pieces of equipment and close to 100 employees.

Specialising in the transporting of refrigerated goods, Coolway Trans are a trusted and respected transporter that deploy temperature-controlled vans and trucks across the country, and utilise their temperature-controlled warehouses in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth to ensure goods are delivered as intended every time.

From collecting trolleys and observing refrigerated trucks at shopping centres in 2011, Sunny soon progressed to becoming a truck driver himself. Completing driver roles at Aldi, StarTrack, Linfox, and Chemtrans, all whilst gaining valuable industry experience.

In 2014, Sunny and Anna purchased their first truck, a UD PK 240, and began sub-contracting refrigerated transport deliveries, marking the beginning of Coolway Trans. Over the years, Sunny and Anna continued to expand their fleet with UD Trucks, due to their impressive reliability, weight capacity, and fuel efficiency. And today have a fleet of 60 mixed trucks.

In addition to the UD product, Coolway Trans rely on UD Trucks' Total Offer through Service Agreements and Financial Services to help their business go the Extra Mile.

Sunny and Anna plan to standardise their fleet entirely with UD and the VGA truck brands - a testament the trust and confidence Coolway have in UD Trucks, VGA and our wider dealer network.
