The Quon 8x4 is proving to be a vocational heavy hitter for Australian transport operators as sales records tumble locally.

With the option of both 8 and 11 litre engines, a class leading 12-speed automated transmission, or a 6-speed Allison automatic, latest sales results indicate that the 8-wheeler Quon is indeed capable of squaring up to the competition in a hotly contested market segment. UD Trucks saw in the new year with record heavy duty market share of 4.7%, however in the 8x4 segment that share accounts for 34%.

Since its Australian launch in 2020, the Quon 8x4 has steadily won friends around the country not only in tipper and agitator roles, but also in more diverse applications such as livestock transport, heavy tilt tray, waste and general freight to name a few.
